Day 1
I started from home at 3:30 am to go to kodaikanal, the sky was ink black at the time we started, I was really sleepy so I slept for a long time. After what seemed like an hour, my mom woke me up for some tea, when the tea arrived, it was blisteringly hot, so I waited for about 5 minutes and drank it quickly.
I was still felling sleepy, so I slept for about 3 hours and by the time I woke up, the sun was starting to rise. I ate breakfast at a A2B restaurant in salem and continued my journey.
There was about 5 more hours before I could reach the resort we are going to stay for the next four days, so I listened to music and gazed out of the window for some time, then as we were climbing the hill, there were some good places for sightseeing. Although I was feeling really tired, we stooped at a place that had a nice view for taking pictures.
I took out my camera and started clicking some pictures of the scenery. I like taking pictures of nature, but my dad insists that I don’t need to take many pictures like that, as they will be found in google if you search them up, but honestly, you can’t find the exact same picture with the exact same amount of sunlight and everything we need for a picture
Them we continued our journey to the resort and reached about an hour later. The resort looked different than I remembered, but the reception looked the same. As my dad was discussing some stuff (boring stuff which I am not interested, and will never be interested in)with the person at the reception, me and my mom were talking about the places we would visit soon. After 10 minutes or so, we went to our room.
The room was small, but the roof was enormous, it was painted with white and was shaped like a dome. there was a balcony, although the balcony was huge, there was less nature around. The hall was really small, and the sofa could also be unfolded like a bed, they had added pillows and a blanket for the third person already
After relaxing for some time, we went to the lake by using the transport from the resort and went for boating. We went in a paddling boat for half an hour, it was really sunny, too sunny for a winter afternoon. Many times, I saw few ducks pop out of the water, and once it realized it was being watched, it goes back into the water.
After 30 mins, we peddled back to the starting point and got of the boat. We got some snacks from some stores near the lake, my parents got some banana Bonda and I got some cotton candy. The cotton candy was really huge, and really sticky, which was annoying. Then we got some tea and hot chocolate. It was really cold, good thing a wore my jerkin before I left the room.
Then we went to get some dinner. We went to an A2B restaurant near the lake and got some pav bhaji and cheese dosa. after dinner, we booked a transport from the resort to take us back to the resort. We were waiting at a bus stand near the lake for a long time, and it started to get unbearably cold when we were waiting for the taxi. turns out, the driver was waiting for us near the A2B restaurant, where we had got dinner.
After reaching the resort, we got refreshed and ate dinner. We were too tired to do anything else, so we winded up our tasks and headed to bed and slept.
Day 2
We woke up and refreshed for the day and ate breakfast, which was Maggi, then we went to the dolphin’s nose viewpoint.
There was a huge trek that made everyone a lot tired. It was very hard to balance while going down the trek, and then we arrived at our destination. I had thought that you just see the dolphin’s nose, turns out, you actually go on it. The space there was surrounded with a lot of greenery, and the view was so down that looking at it made me feel dizzy and scared.
Frist, me and my dad went to the peak, then me and my mom went next. After that, we climbed up the trek. It was a lot easier to balance. Then we went to a nearby restaurant and ate lunch
We had Parotta with veg gravy. After that, we went to the resort, we planned to go to the green valley viewpoint, but all the tourist spots were going to close at 3:30 pm, and it was nearly 3:00, and the green valley viewpoint was around 30 mins away. So we went to the resort.
The resort has changed our room, so we packed everything up and went the the other room. It was more closer to the resort club house, and it was bigger.
I spent the evening reading stories and relaxing. At around 8:30pm, we ordered dinner, which was some naans and paneer curry, and ate it quickly. After dinner, we wrapped up our work and went to sleep
Day 3
We woke up and refreshed for the day and ate breakfast, which was Maggi, then set off to the green valley viewpoint.
While we were going, we came across another tourist place. It was a waterfall, called the fairy falls, and it was pretty near, so we took a diversion and went to the falls
the waterfall was short, and we spent like almost 30 mins there, then we went to the green valley viewpoint
